Eirik Johnson – Japan Bound

This week, Eirik Johnson sets off to Japan for the month of October to continue work on his Mushroom Camps series.

Thanks to a grant from the Art Matters Foundation, Eirik has funding support for travel to Japan to develop a photography and sound based installation involving the economy of Matsutake mushrooms in Oregon and Japan.  We’ll be posting photos along the way, so stay tuned.
