Recent Acquisitions
Donated to the Henry Art Gallery: MICHAEL KENNA, The Rouge, Study 8, Dearborn, Michigan, USA, 1993 and Ratcliffe Power Station, Study 45, Nottinghamshire, England, 2003, donated by the artist. Michael has also generously worked with collectors in donating funds from his selected Ukraine images to the American Red Cross / Ukraine Humanitarian Relief.
Purchased by the Henry Art Gallery: EIRIK JOHNSON, Glines Canyon, Upper Elwha River, Washington, 2018, which is the companion piece to the 2008 photograph that is already in the Henry Art Gallery collection.
Purchased by the Seattle Art Museum: IMOGEN CUNNINGHAM, Martha Graham 2, 1937. Imogen Cunningham – A Retrospective, continues at the GETTY CENTER in Los Angeles through June 12.
Other purchases by institutions include work by ROBERT C. JONES, and MARION POST WOLCOTT (4 images total).
