30 years ago G. Gibson Gallery opened in the Pioneer Square neighborhood of Seattle, WA on August 1, 1991. In the fall of 2019 we closed our retail gallery and re-opened as G.Gibson Projects, a ‘by appointment’ viewing space located in the Queen Anne neighborhood of Seattle.  In this new phase, we continue to represent and promote both contemporary artists + secondary market works.

Our selection of Consigned Works changes on a regular basis as we sell artwork, and acquire new work for inventory.  Please let us know if you are interested in consigning with us via email gail@ggibsongallery.com, or phone 206.587.4033. We have sold artworks by Vija Celmins, Philip Guston, Carrie Mae Weems, Graciela Iturbide, Richard Misrach, Sally Mann and many other 20th & 21st century artists.

We are also taking this opportunity to thank you for your support over the years!

Our deepest gratitude goes to all of the artists that we have worked with over the years as well.  Some of the artists that we have continued to work with since our beginning years include Michael Kenna, Linda Connor, Eirik Johnson, JoAnn Verburg, and the families of Imogen Cunningham, and Marion Post Wolcott. The above photograph by Julie Blackmon was chosen as many of us seek a kind of normality in our lives and as the world summer Olympics begin.

Please note that we are primarily working via online this year – through email, Instagram and by phone 206-587-4033.  We are able to ship artwork purchases – out of state & out of country.  We also make local deliveries to client’s homes in the Seattle area, taking care to do this in a responsible manner.  The viewing room will reopen at a later date TBA.
