Road to Nowhere – Book Signing

Eirik will sign his newest publication, Road to Nowhere at Peter Miller Books, Seattle, this Thursday, November 4th from 5 – 7:30pm. Editioned photographs from this series documenting the Alaskan Way Viaduct before it’s demolition can be viewed on our website.

Bellevue Arts Museum 2021 Biennial: Architecture & Urban Design
November 5, 2021 – April 24, 2022
Eirik’s new Leviathan work will be included at the Bellevue Arts Museum 2021 Biennial: Architecture & Urban Design, which opens this week.

In other good news, Eirik Johnson’s Glines Canyon, Upper Elwha River, Washington, 2018, was recently acquired by the Henry Art Gallery, Seattle, WA.  This photograph is the companion piece to Below the Glines Canyon Dam on the upper Elwha River, Washington, 2008, also in the Henry collection. More work from the Sawdust Mountain series can be viewed on the website.

We are pleased to present a selection of photographs by IMOGEN CUNNINGHAM at the Greg Kucera Gallery, 212 Third Ave South in Pioneer Square, Seattle, WA,  from November 26 through December 23, 2021. This gallery exhibit is in conjunction with the upcoming SEATTLE ART MUSEUM exhibit Imogen Cunningham – A Retrospective, which opens on Nov. 18. We are also showing the work as an online exhibit through G. Gibson Projects. The Greg Kucera Gallery has generously let us borrow a room to feature Imogen’s photographs.  The main exhibit at Greg Kucera Gallery will feature quilt work by Louisiana Bendolph, Loretta Pettway Bennett, and Quinnie Pettway.

G. Gibson Projects is normally open by appointment, however this year we are primarily working via online through email, Instagram, and by phone 206.587.4033. We are able to ship artwork purchases to all locations, and make local deliveries to client’s homes in the Seattle area – taking care to do both in a responsible manner.  The viewing room will reopen by early next year &  August 1, 2021 marks our 30th year in business.
